The authority of the Micro, Small and Medium-sized Business (AMPYME for its acronym in the Spanish language) and Banesco made a public-private alliance that will make it possible to organize the creation of small business owners through the program Emprendedores Banesco (Banesco’s Entrepreneurs).
The cooperation agreement was signed by the AMPYME’s Minister, María Celia Dopeso López, and Banesco Panamá’s CEO, Carlos Alberto Escotet.
After the methodology of Emprendedores Banesco was reviewed by both parties, and by having access to the AMPYME’s Business Development Fund and Seed Capital Program, the entrepreneurs and micro business owners of the country are empowered, which gives dynamism to the creation of new socially committed financial products and services, which are required by micro and small business, both in rural and urban areas, with an inclusive approach.
The agreement will make it possible to join efforts and to give comprehensive service to more Panamanians, entrepreneurs across the country, offering them in a permanent way due monitoring, as well as the necessary motivation so that they are successful in their business.
